Come learn and have some fun during this joyful season. We will go over the basics of Japa Meditation while making our own mala( a simple string of beads used in Japa Meditation). We will practice a bit of silence while stringing the beads. After we are done we will all sit together and practice a Japa meditation using our new mala beads.
This workshop includes materials to make one mala necklace of 108 beads.
Please feel free to bring anything special for your mala.

We are very excited to announce the first part of our Women’s Health Workshop Series. Come join us for an afternoon as we discuss Pelvic Floor Health and learn more about it's exceptionally important role. We will go over the basics of the pelvic floor anatomy and function, and dive deep into the vital connection of the breath and pelvic diaphragm. We will also move through and practice gentle and restorative postures to both facilitate and down-train the pelvic floor and surrounding structures.

Two keys to improve balance and prevent injury from falling as we age are; mastering transitions and developing strength. This workshop is for any one who wants to know how they might improve day-to-day physical, spiritual and energetic balance.
  • Mastering Transitions: Find out about the different systems that your body uses to keep itself steady during movement or in stillness. There will be demonstration exercises so that you can experience how visual input, the inner ear system, and awareness of the position and movement of the body affect balance.
  • Developing Strength: A guided intention and breathing techniques will be presented to bolster spiritual and energetic power. You’ll see how familiar standing and core centered yoga poses can be used to increase physical stamina.
  • Basic balancing poses are spread throughout the session using the skills taught to improve stability during yoga practice and in every day life.
